Ty started the season planning to start on defense. Two days before the scrimmage the starting QB, Keaton Kislinbury had his left shoulder dislocated so Ty started the scrimmage and first game 2 weeks later at QB. Since they didn't have another experienced QB they didn't let him play any other positions.
The scrimmage was the worst I've ever seen Winslow look. It was terrible. We went to Chinle for the first game and Ty did good enough to get the win which is all that counts really.
Ty & Rudy before the National Anthem and moment of silence they had for Tamie Ramsey before the game in Chinle.
Ty was 2/7 with 30 yds, 3 int & 1TD. His long was the 28 yd TD that put them up. He had 5 carries for and a TD. He had one fumble and Tackled the guy that intercepted his throw. He also ran in a 2 pt conversion so Ty had 36 yds total for 8 points in the game.
The next game was home vs. Holbrook and Keaton was back at QB so they had Ty starting at Outside Linebacker. He had 3 solo tackls with 1 being a tackle for a loss.
Zack & Presley at the Holbrook game.
The 3rd game was against Flagstaff. After beating them at their Homecoming at NAU last year we knew it was gonna be a tough one. We pulled out another win with the same score...14-12. This week they started Ty at FB and he ended up catching the go ahead TD!
He had 4 rushes for 15 yds with a long of 10 yds and was 3 for 21 yds on receiving. He had 36 total yds and 3 solo tackles on defense.
Sad news was his friend Avery broke his wrist on the opening kickoff and will miss the rest of the season.

The 4th game was at Show Low. We knew it'd be tough but it was tougher than we expected. Loss 57-0. The whole team looked awful and couldn't get anything going. It was Drew's first time being ball boy out of town.
The 5th game was a tough loss 20-21 vs Monument Valley for Homecoming. Ty had 4 solo tackles and 1 assist. They ran a different offense and he didn't get much playing time after the first half.
The 6th game was against Window Rock. Ty got in for a few plays at QB when Keaton came out to get his ankle wrapped after getting hurt. Ty was 1/2 for 5 yds at QB and then he had 4 carries for 5 yds with an 11 yd long run. He had a great game on defense with 4 solo tackles and 2 assisted tackles with 2 being for a loss. He had a sack with a 10 yd loss as well.

The 7th game was at Page. It was the first night of Fall Break and so we got a room in Page. Ty had 5 carries for 22 yards with a 19 yard long run. He had 2 receptions for 6 yards with an 8 yard long. He had 28 total yards. On defense he had 1 solo and 2 assisted tackles and caused 2 fumbles. He missed a play on defense earlier in the game so they pulled him for most of the time on defense until later in the game when someone was hurt.
The 8th game was vs RV during Fall Break. We weren't expecting it to be a good game so Preston went to Texas with the younger 2 and I stayed home so he could play. He had 3 carries for 12 yards with a 9 yard run. On defense he had 1 solo tackle & 1 assist.
The 9th game was at Blue Ridge. They only played him a couple of plays on offense (they started using "speed" offense) and but he had 4 solo tackles and 4 assisted tackles.
The last game was at Ganado. Again, he had no offense stats but he had 7 solo tackles, 5 assisted tackles to be 2nd on the team for tackles that night. He had 1 fumble recovery that he returned for 13 yards.
