Cheer Clinic

Presley went to one football game and fell asleep at halftime.  Luckily, Aunt Corey has been letting her come over and play with John Luke during the other home football games.  It was the little girls cheer clinic and we asked her several times if she wanted to do it.  She changed her mind a couple of times but the day it started she said yes so we put her in it.  She seemed to have fun but right away she said she didn't want to go again.  I told her she had to because we already signed her up.  The 2nd day of practice was rough...she woke up at 4am and was watching cartoons so didn't get enough sleep and just had a hard day.  She kept saying I don't wanna cheer for TyTy! The 3rd day we made sure she had plenty of sleep and was back to having fun.  

I had text Ty and said win or lose I want a picture of you and Presley together.  We were early and I decided we better get a picture before just in case.

The W was fixed 

and they even put flaming torch type things on the end that they controlled remotely.  

Presley was supposed to cheer the whole first half.

She waved the whole time she was there.  She started waving at random people I think.  haha

It was tough trying to watch Ty and Presley at the same time.  The starting QB, Keaton Kislingbury got hurt and Ty went in at QB for a few plays.

 She enjoyed the pom she got to hold.  After the first quarter she saw her two friends leave and a couple of seconds later she told Ady she was done so she brought her up to us.  

We bought her a pizza and took a coke for her to drink when she was done.  She was ready to go home after half time but she made it through the game without falling asleep this time.  

She wanted to take a selfie and all of a sudden started doing this pose??  

Luckily we finally won a game by quite a bit and we were able to get more pictures after the game but not with all of us unfortunately.  

Ty's 17

Ty had his annual capture the flag birthday party with all his friends.  Granny made him this awesome blanket with a matching bag to carry it in.

Homecoming

Ty asked his girlfriend Adysen Leonard to Homecoming with the cutest sign him and Sunshine came up with.  He had planned to ask her after the Holbrook football game but because they lost he didn't.  We went to her brother's wedding reception in Joseph City the next night and he ended up asking her there and got to meet all of her family.  lol 

Both boys didn't get home until 7:30 each evening because after practice they went and helped each of their classes work on their floats.  

Thursday was the Pep Assembly and it was good.  The senior skit was pretty good...we didn't understand only a couple portions of it when most of the time we rarely understand it.

Friday was the Homecoming parade.  They went back to the traditional parade route after the last several years being drive through.  After being bombarded by the swim team last year we had plans in place to get them back.  We had water balloons set up at two places along the route.  Preston was giving everyone around a water balloon so by the time their float came we were out of water balloons and they soaked us.  But when we went to our second location, Allen Leonard asked the lady that owned the house we were standing in front of to use her hose and we got them good!  :)  

The game...we lost to Monument Valley!!!  How could we lose to a rez team?!  

Because We Care asked me to donate my time by taking pictures of the kids for the Homecoming Dance.  I always enjoy seeing the kids dressed up with their dates.  While taking pictures Audrey Leonard was their watching and when Ty & Ady came and had their pictures taken and then a friend group picture she asked if I was going to get a picture of Zack and his date.  I was like, what?!  He didn't tell us so we had no clue.  It was Jadiana Kinlicheenie from Joe City.  I guess if I wouldn't have taken pictures I would've never known.  Although Kim and Audrey both knew.  Dang boy!
