My best friend was:  Mason Hancock.  He was always there to talk to.  he was really funny and we hung out in almost all our classes. He was and is a good example of a worthy member of the priesthood.

Funny moment: On the first day of school since I was office aide 1st hour I did the pledge and said my name was Aydon DeSplain.

Big Changes in Eighth Grade:

Aydon's report card had 2 non-A+'s from Social Studies in the first semester...every other class the entire year was A+'s.  We were so proud of his hard work and dedication and was not the least bit surprised that he ended up Valedictorian.  

He again got to go to California for Student Council (he was a representative-after the original election that he ran for Vice President for).  Between Honor Society & Student Council he had 73 hours of community service (a requirement of 60 to attend the Honor Society trip)

Presley 5 months

She likes to be read to.  She's starting to check out Dexter.  She now likes to watch her brothers play baseball.  Went up to size 2 diapers and jumped up to 6-9 months clothes! According to our home scale she is close to 15 pounds...nearly a 2 pound jump this month.  Very smiley and likes all the attention she gets everywhere we go.  She LOVES oatmeal!  She does not like rice.  My parents have kept her a few times when it's too windy outside for ball games or when I've worked and she will take a little sugar water   She really likes sucking her thumb and first finger!  She has started SCREAMING when she's tired in her carseat.  As soon as someone gets her out or we roll down the window she will calm down and go right to sleep.  I keep telling Aydon I wish he could drive already so I could keep her from screaming while we are driving down the road.  She will now consistently roll from her back to her belly just a week before turning 5 months.  

Grandma Bowman gave her $20 to go buy a new dress!  woo-hoo!

 She was fussing so he tried putting her pacifier in

 then gave her her baby

 and it worked, she calmed down.

She's starting to enjoy watching John Luke play now.   

 She was done with tummy time and started fussing so Luke was trying to cheer her up with Mater.

 I'm loving all her new 6-9 month summer outfits!  

 She can now grab one foot...the other hand rests just below the other foot.

John Luke brought two "babies" the other day and so I was teasing him asking if Presley could have a baby.  He went and got hers and gave it to her.

 The boys went and jumped in the creek the other day after we had cleaned the garage during the teacher strike.  I tried keeping her covered from the sun but she didn't want to be covered.  She wanted to watch the boys and see what they were doing!

 We had two games in a row at the ballpark and it was great weather so she went to both games and did so good!
