Drew's double digits

We had hoped to have Drew's party on his birthday Sunday evening but railroad ruined that!  Preston did get home that evening so we were able to give him his gift from us.
Those that wanted a rifle got one for their 10th birthday so we got him a .270.
It's a bit heavy right now but hopefully by the time he gets drawn for a hunt he will have grown into it.

Drew requested Skye's tomato soup for dinner and as I started making it he said he wanted to make it so I helped him make it.
I had no cake mixes so I had to make cupcakes from scratch for him.  They were good!  Presley & Zack were trying to light a candle so we could sing to him and it kept blowing out.  They went out of the wind a bit and got it lit and then Presley sneezed and blew it out.  It was H I L A R I O U S!!!
Drew got lots of money (that he still hasn't spent)!

Thank goodness John remembered to get their birthday picture together because I had totally forgotten about it.

Drew asked for Texas Sheetcake and we made vanilla soft serve.
Presley does NOT like the happy birthday song being sung...she always makes this face.
Birthday spanking from Pappaw.

Drew was so excited to get his own hoop at our house.  We bought one but set it up at his grandparents house next door.  Even though this one is not regulation he is so happy to have one at his house.

First day of online school

As the Junior High principal said, "I guess spring break is finally over".  We are starting school in an online format today.  The school district is offering an online option through ASU but it doesn't offer accelerated classes and Aydon has 4 college credit classes he's taking so we have no choice but to send our kids to in person once it does open which is tentatively August 17th.  We are hoping that gets pushed back though.

Presley was standing back but ran and jumped in and looked so cute!

Ty Freshman

Zack 7th grade

Drew 5th grade

This is what online school at home looks like at our house.  We are fortunate, our kids all have their own computers.  Aydon bought his last summer with his lifeguarding money.  Ty & Zack both used birthday money to buy themsleves chromebooks last year too.  Drew is using an old laptop that I had bought for like $50 at Wal-Mart on clearance but it doesn't have any storage.  It works great for being online and doing schoolwork for Drew though.  Aydon & Zack had both purchased these little desks for their bedrooms.  Aydon just put his grandparents recliner in his room so he's nice & comfy.
