Drew is 5!

As we were eating Gumbo for Drew's birthday after church, he asked if he was going to get any "dollars" for his birthday.
He chose to open the DeSpain's card first.
 He was not disappointed.
Ty read the card & as you can see the boys thought it was hilarious.  It was a dog on the front and said I'm so excited I could poop.
The Sullivan's got him a huge Mario,
 LSU Baseball shirt,
 and more "dollars"!
When Sunshine asked what Drew wanted for his birthday, I asked him and he said shoes.  Kid has always loved shoes.
She took him to the woods a couple of weeks ago and he tried pulling out some old boots that didn't fit him anymore so she found some new ones that will.  As you can tell, he was happy!
 Next was our gift.
Drew has been begging for a watch since school started, I found one that hopefully he'll wear.  He's had them in the past and doesn't like the way they feel on his arm so we will see.  I know there are other people in this house that will wear it if he don't (including me & yes it fits my tiny wrists). :)
Vickey has a neck pillow and we went to pick him up at her house a couple of times and he had fallen asleep with that pillow so I found this LSU Tiger one.
Drew LOVES Pete the Cat books.  Everytime we went to the library this summer, he picked all the Pete the Cat books they had and checked at least one out every time, even if we had read it.  I bought him 8 books so we can mix it up at home now.

Sunshine found him a new Hulk Smash shirt
and this awesome bat camoflauge shorts and glow in the dark shirt.  Such a cute outfit!
It was church and we normally run home and change from our church clothes, but didn't today, or we just like to be fancy for Drew's party, you know.
John, Corey, Jace & Emily came later.  They got Drew a new nerf gun.  The kids have had a blast hanging out and having nerf wars this summer.
On the second day of school, we had run to Flagstaff and Drew saw a Hulk halloween costume at Sam's Club that he begged me to buy and continued to ask about it when we got home.  My mom told John that he should get it for him so they did.
He is ready for Halloween to come now!
Drew frosted and put fresh strawberry slices on his cupcakes yesterday.  He had bought Mickey Mouse cupcake wrappers and so that's why there is no cake.
After blowing out his candles he ambushed everyone!
 Crazy, sweaty guy.
