I am in denial right now. My baby is growing up. I switched him over to a twin bed last week. He is now 18 months and everyday is saying or doing something new. It really does make me super duper sad. He is funny though...just like when he was crawling around and would fall asleep in the most random places, he will wake up a couple of times in the middle of the night, open his door, and go fall asleep in the middle of the floor in another room.
His personality is really starting to become, umm...what's the word I want to use...agressive. He's a mean little boy. He will bite his brothers when they make him mad, he hits me (hard) for no reason & is a pushy little brother. He loves his brothers though...one of his first words was "brudder". He said Aydon's name first, and just last week yelled Ty-Ty. He will look at his brothers and yell their names until they give him the attention that he wants.
He loves to play catch. That's another word that comes out loud & clear, "catch". He has a great throw already. None of the other boys threw this accurate or hard. I'm hoping we have our future quarterback, I mean he does have the name Drew. ;)
He is a daddy's boy. He hates when daddy leaves and runs to the door and tries to follow him anytime he leaves. He even calls me dad sometimes.
We just visited my parents for the evening and it cracked me up. My mom says he's still a baby so she gives him a bottle of warm milk when he goes over and he knows it. It was the first thing he did when he walked into their house. He started doing a happy dance (literally) and took my mom to the cabinet, she lifted him up and he grabbed his bottle, & took her to the fridge to get his milk.
It has been a mild winter so him & Zack have played outside quite a bit and he loves it. He also loves Dexter & Dexter loves him too. He always likes to go help his brothers feed the dogs outside as well.
At his checkup he weighed 25 pounds. Zack still had one more pound on him at this age so even though I feel like he's a chunk cause all he does is eat, he's not the biggest one I've had. I think that's why he's a daddy's boy. He loves to sit on daddy's lap as soon as he wakes up in the morning and they eat breakfast together.
My favorite age has always been 6-18 mos and it's so hard to see that over.

Drew throws huge fits because he wants to sit at our counter height bar on the stools and he's not big enough to do it himself. You can see how happy it makes him to be up there. He thinks he's big like his brothers.
This boy would wear shorts and a t-shirt everyday of his life if I let him. Anytime I let him dress himself this is what he picks...shorts, t-shirt & his boots. The winter coat is what makes it so funny to me. He goes outside to play like that too.
His favorite hat right now.
