We were all so excited to get away to Lake Powell. This has been the busiest summer and we were all ready to relax and have no technology! Preston's cousin Skye & her family joined us this year and the boys were so excited to have some kids their age. Ty asked if Jhett could come to and so he got to come along as well.
At Page Wal-Mart. Zack had rode with Gary & Vickey so he's not in there and Aydon must've been helping load something.
It was windy so as bad as everyone wanted to stop and jump in the lake, we couldn't because when we were tying on the boat and jetski's it was rough even for Preston. In fact, he jumped in without a life jacket and was starting to struggle out there.
Let the games begin! They were just as excited to play games as they were to play in the water.

Drew was in heaven playing so many games. Paisley
Jhett & Zack
Presley Sego & Aydon
We felt like we had a great spot. We were protected from the heat of the day by the rock, we had sand for the little kids to play in, we had rocks near us to jump from and a good wind break.
We knew the water would rise but man, I felt like it rose at least 10 feet while we were there just from how far we used to have to walk up to get to the sand and we were near the top of the sand by the time we left.
Presley Sego & Aydon jumping off some smaller rocks
Then it was the bigger kids turn to jump off some higher rocks.
Zack on the slide, Presley Sego, Zoey, Aydon, Drew & Harleigh
Jhett, Presley S & Aydon
Taught them how to play Bang and they enjoyed it too.
Bailey, Jhett, Paisley & Drew playing in the sand.
Aydon playing ring around the rosie's with Bailey & Presley
Presley's latest thing to do is "play dead" in her brother's arms.
They were so sweet
Presley loves playing with her Aydon
Everyone took a turn kneeboarding. We started some kids off on the rocks and some kids were able to pull themselves up.
Drew was glued to Jhett's hip the entire trip...literally in this picture. lol
Relaxing on the floaties together
Drew playing with the fireworks balls that Ben brought.
Another shot of us lounging. We would take Presley out for a ride on the jetski anytime it was naptime and she was so good, I'd take her lifejacket off and lay her in her crib and she'd go right back to sleep. She did good at night too. I'd take a couple of packs of peaches, a spoon and her juice up every night and she had it figured out quick. Every morning she'd get up and want her peaches and juice immediately. She loved having a couple of breakfasts. She is such a big breakfast eater.
Think this was the last day where kids were exhausted and getting chapped from the combo of the wind/water/sun and so it burned to put sunscreen and lotion on at this point so everyone was watching a movie. We broke tradition since Emmitt wasn't there and had other movies besides Shark Tale.
Skye gave my older boys some shaving cream to get the little kids.
Aydon & Harleigh
Presley & Bailey.
Drew & Presley S
Preston, Presley & Dexter out on a kayak ride. Presley didn't like the temperature of the water but enjoyed being out on the jetski and the kayak. She really enjoyed playing with her sand toys but man it got hot fast doing that.
There was lots of jumping from the top deck.
Ty was so excited to have someone help him fish every night.
This was the first night's fishing crew. Ben was great at lining the kids up and then letting someone new reel it everytime. I think most of the kids all got a turn.
I don't think I even got on the boat this year. The kids had fun riding the 2 different tubes and hotdog. Eventually all 3 were broken though.
Drew flipping off
Zack wanting to drive.
Harleigh joined Presley and I everytime we played in the sand. It was fun talking with her.
There was a nice height rock right across from us that a lot of us jumped from throughout the trip. I never got a picture but even Zack did it. Preston & I wet across one time and dang getting older, my ear hurt for the rest of the trip from jumping off the rock.
We brought a few fireworks and some other boats had fireworks another night. That's the thing about this canyon is it's much less crowded and I miss watching the huge fireworks shows from our old canyon.
Ben & Skye out on a ride
Preston & I worked on the broken tube and the hotdog for quite a while but I guess we'll just have to invest in new ones next time.
Zack lounging
Pre-shaving cream
Back at the marina
I'm glad I was able to get them all together for a picture as we were waiting to fuel.
Our kids
The kids said this was one of the funnest trips with all the kids being so close in age and all the games they got to play. Thanks for joining us Sego's.
