We had seen an ad for a maltese puppy and when we called on it, no one answered or called us back. I had seen a friend post a picture with a Maltese and so I talked to her at church and she told me the lady she had gotten hers from just had a new litter the week before! I couldn't believe our luck!
Our puppy that we would name Coconut and call Coco was born January 29th and we got to meet the puppies on February 21st. We decided to get a girl for the first time. Presley loved the puppy and didn't want to leave her. She cried the entire 15 minute drive home about that puppy. Since she was so upset we decided not to go see the puppies again to avoid upsetting her like that. We were able to pick Coco up the end of Spring Break. It was also the first day that Presley let me paint her finger nails and toe nails and you can see how excited we all were as a family that she finally let us do that. She loves her puppy and picks her up and plays with her all the time.
