Our little tradition

It started with Aydon and has been one of our little things we do for each of our babies before they are born.  After we decide on their name we buy the letters and paint them for their nursery.  As they have gotten older we have still kept them in their room.  (It may still be in their rooms in high school too!)

Poor Zach...when we looked for the letters for his name Wal-mart in town did not carry any letters and we had to settle on a different version for his name.
And now to reveal baby #4's name...
And a view of his nursery...
Preston picked the order & spelling of his name so we'll see if he sticks to calling him Keylan or using Drew (the one he picked).
Does any of my family in Louisiana recognize the first name?  Keiland Williams from LSU.  A couple of years ago, before there was even thoughts of baby #4 I fell in love with that name.  I'm glad my husband is so agreeable!  Preston picked Drew and had to mention to me that my dad should like it.  I was confused and he had to explain-Drew Brees from the Saints.  Oh I get it now.  That's not why he picked it but we both like it.
So the room is all ready, all the hand-me-downs are unpacked & the name is decided.  We are ready for baby!

Pitiful!!

Zach has a SLIGHT obsession with his Granny Vickey.  He knows her car & her house and can spot her the second she is visible.  He can't just see her for a minute either.  He has to spend some quality time with her or he throws a fit when it's time to go.  It's gotten really bad so we've been trying to break him from seeing her so much.  Yesterday he found these picture books I make of family for the boys when they are babies.  He found Granny Vickey in them and brought it to us saying, "Ganny".  We had not seen her yesterday and were headed to a birthday party in the evening and we couldn't resist this picture.  How pitiful, right!?!
