Halloween 2010

Aydon took pictures of us carving pumpkins this year.  Zach insisted on doing his own but broke a couple of the tools so mom HAD to help him.
Ty showing Aydon his progress.  He did his all on his own!!
 Aydon's
 Ty's
 Zachary's
We took a year off from a family theme and let the boys choose their own costumes.  Aydon is a ninja from GI Joe, Ty was his favorite-an elephant (and a darn cute one too!), & I had to force Zach to dress up.  He had no desire to go trick-or-treating so he just helped me pass out candy.
The boys with their cute trick-or-treat bags Sunshine got them.
We had a pumpkin costume for Drew but it was a horribly windy day so he stayed with his Granny Vickey out of the wind.  Zach likes to take pictures so here's one of Daddy & Drew before we left for trunk-or-treat at the church.

Winslow Mighty Mites 2010

 Aydon & Preston
 John, Aydon & Preston
Aydon & the long awaited football trophy.
He has kept his dad's football trophy in his room for the last couple of years but now he has his own!!
 Defensive coaches Preston & John
Coaches: Jason, Preston, John, Nick & Brad (missing Ric)
and JJ (the one I took of just the coaches was blurry)

Aydon's team had their last football game this past weekend.  They finished the season 1-5 but were ONE tackler away from finishing 1-4-1.  On the last play our guy was running down the field & the very last Holbrook guy was able to tackle him...Dang it!
This was the first year for the majority of the team.  Aydon really caught on & was one of the hardest hitters & best tacklers on the team.  The team improved tremendously & we can't wait for next year.  Plus Ty will be old enough to play so we will have one year of Aydon & Ty playing football together on the same team.  I don't think you understand how excited we are for that!!

Saints vs. Cardinals

These are the shirts our Aunt Cynthia got us last year when the Saints won the Super Bowl.
 Jerry's kids :)
Preston couldn't bring himself to wear Saints so he supported LSU-that'll work!
John with Preston's Mardi Gras beads from years ago!
 Preston making fun of John!
Thanks mom & dad for the tickets to the game-they were great seats!  It was lots of fun even though it didn't end up like we all expected it too.
Granny & Baby Drew & his black & gold beads.  He was such a good baby for his first NFL game!

 Brees warming up
Saints owner Mr. Benson watching pregame warmups
Sean Payton just before opening kickoff
We are Cards fans too.  Just not when they're playing our team!
Larry Fitzgerald was leading team stretches & had someone throwing him the ball the entire time.
Darnell Dockett.  Preston went & watched the Cards at training camp while I was waiting to be released from the hospital after having Drew.  Dockett was on a segway then-guess those aren't allowed on the field though.  :)
 View from our seats
The only picture I took after the game started.  I get too into the game to take pictures.

Rockstars

This past week was homecoming.  Aydon's class had a different spirit week than the other schools.  When he had Rockstar day on Tuesday I was clueless on how to dress him so I called Sunshine for some help.  She & Uncle John had a blast taking him shopping and dressing him.  Here's the result of their work.
 Rockstar?
 Or Gangsta?
 Or MMA fighter?
They dressed him up completely the night before to show how they wanted him to look.  This was them spray painting his hair & Ty's just for the heck of it.
Ty, the kid with many photo expressions, was doing this in all the pictures on his own.  After Uncle John saw it he had to take another picture doing the same face because he thought it was AWESOME!
